lyrics

(Time, time, time, time)

You,
Tell me you're not ready to,
Love again even though you,
Adore me,
So what you just use me,
Abuse me.

I guess I let my own self down,
Thinking that you'd come around,
I got better things to do,
You won't catch me feeling blue, not over you.

Ohh, you turn your back and let me fall,
I rise above it all,
Standing strong and tall.

Ohh, you turn your back and let me fall,
I rise above it all,
Standing strong and tall.

You,
Adore me,
So what you just use me,
Abuse me.

I guess I let my own self down,
Thinking that you'd come around,
I got better things to do,
You won't catch me feeling blue, not over you.

Ohh, you turn your back and let me fall,
I rise above it all,
Standing strong and tall.

I guess I let my own self down,
Thinking that you'd come around,
I got better things to do,
You won't catch me feeling blue, not over you.

I guess I let my own self down,
Thinking that you'd come around,
I got better things to do,
You won't catch me feeling blue, not over you.

Ohh, you turn your back and let me fall,
I rise above it all,
Standing strong and tall.

Ohh, you turn your back and let me fall,
I rise above it all,
Standing strong and tall.

I guess I let my own self down,
Thinking that you'd come around,
I got better things to do,
You won't catch me feeling blue, not over you.

You,
Tell me you're not ready to,
Love again even though you,
Adore me,
So what you just use me,
Abuse me.

about

Xotla Melbourne, Australia

My name is Declan Clark, better known as 'Xotla', a Nahuatl word meaning 'to ignite' or 'to blossom', the fusion of which is a beautiful concept I chose my alias in honor of. I spend my time amongst lush forests and diverse wildlife, which inspires the music I create.
I work with a mixture of unusual time signatures and esoteric tunings, and utilise instruments such as microtonal guitars.
